Lecture rooms

CBC has well furnished lecture rooms with modern lighting facilities and projectors. All classrooms are also well ventilated.

Computer and Internet Facilities

Students have access to wireless internet services free of charge while the computer lab is equipped with the latest Microsoft applications for word processing, spreadsheets and internet among others.

Reference library

CBC maintains an electronic reference library that is available to all registered students for reference use only. Computers area also available with internet connectivity to aid online learning.

Photocopying, faxing and binding facilities

These are available to students. A reasonable but small charge is made to offset some of the high costs of providing the service. Ask at the administration for assistance.

Canteen

CBC recognizes that a canteen facility is a necessary feature of an efficient college that is attentive to the require¬ments and needs of its students.

LEARNER ADVICE AND GUIDENCE

CBC has a Student Welfare Officer who is competent to provide advice and assistance for students when neces¬sary. The college recognizes that students need guidance, counseling and support on an on-going basis, but often have problems that emerge. At CBC the Student Welfare Officer is always at hand to give such assistance.

The Academic Director, working closely with the Programme Co-ordinator will support students and ensure that there is an adequate system in place for student services and welfare. The induction for new candidates provides a platform to provide instructions, advice and written material, which are meant to be of practical aid to our students while they are with us. Tutors are encouraged, and indeed are expected to be supportive to our students, and be of assistance whenever necessary.

The culture and values at CBC are such that every member of staff is expected to contribute to the overall ser¬vices that we provide to students, and be part of student care.
