The course equips students with broad knowledge and skills to enable individual and group participation in the emerging area of Project Management. In particular, students will be exposed to the tools, techniques and key knowledge areas that constitute project management. Students should be familiar with project organisation, planning, stakeholder management and other key knowledge areas. By the end of the course students should understand the key areas of Project Management appreciate the role of project management in managing scarce business resources, appreciate the application of key knowledge areas to managing and participating in successful projects.
